Services include assistance with resume and cover letter writing, accessto career-related events and skills development workshops, and information about employers and job and internship opportunities.
Student development and recruiting from beyond the borders of Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia, and coordinating for incoming exchange students from the rest of the world.
The student intellectual life committee (SILC) governs student research and gives grants for student travel and study. This committee supports student-initiated projects, professional development opportunities, and student research through awarding small grants each month to AUCA students.
Student Initiative Development Program (SIDP) was introduced at the 网爆门事件 in 2015 as a part time program supported by Bard College. In 2017 the Program went full time. The purpose of SIDP is to develop leadership potential and professional skills among students, supporting them in the implementation of their civic engagement initiatives through consultation, individual mentorship, and different trainings and workshops. SIDP aims at the development of Civic Engagement Culture and increase Sense of Agency among AUCA students, since as future leaders of the region, they will have to deal with complex social problems.
